What’s the difference between a pod versus a unit?

A unit is a single, individual storage space available for rent. A pod is a larger structure that houses either four (4) or eight (8) multiple units. Think of a pod as the overall enclosure, and the units are the separate, rentable spaces.
• Unit = the individual rentable space
• Pod = the complete structure containing multiple storage units

How many units come to a pod?

We have four (4) or eight (8) units per pod available, and you can lease multiple pods to achieve the exact number of storage units to meet your capacity needs.

Do I really pay no upfront cost?

Yes, if you lease our on-site storage units, you pay no upfront costs!

How are the storage units secured?

Each unit is designed with a built-in hasp system, allowing you to secure it with a standard padlock of your choice. This gives you the flexibility to choose the level of security that best fits your needs. For maximum security, we recommend using a high-quality disc lock, which offers superior resistance to cutting and tampering than traditional padlocks, making them ideal for securing storage in marinas and outdoor environments.

Can I rent the storage sites daily, weekly, or monthly?

How you decide to rent your storage units is up to you. We accept all rentals.

What is a T-catch Door Retention?

A T-catch door retention is a mechanical door-holding device that keeps the door securely open. It prevents doors from slamming shut due to wind or gravity, offering added safety and convenience.

What if I need light where the pods are placed?

With every lease, we include the option to add a solar-powered light post and/or security cameras, providing enhanced visibility and convenience for both you and your customers.

How will I know if I’m getting gravel or pavers?

If your site already has a hard surface, minimal grading, and gravel may suffice. For softer ground, pavers may be required. This will be outlined and clarified in your lease agreement.

How do the renters (boaters, RV customers, etc) pay when renting the units?

Each unit features a QR code, allowing renters to scan and pay via their mobile phone. After payment, you provide them with a lock and key. We also offer a spare key to be retained on file for marina access, if necessary.

If I want to move the storage pods as my layout changes, will that be possible?

Yes, our pods come with forklift sleeves for easy maneuverability, which allows you to quickly adjust your setup without any hassle.

Can I put these pods on a floating dock?

Yes, this is absolutely a possibility! Please contact us directly to discuss floating dock installations in more detail.

If I decide to lease, how fast does it take for delivery & setup?

After signing the lease, you can expect delivery and setup within several weeks, allowing you to start generating income with minimal hassle.

Are the units ventilated?

Yes. Our vented units release built-up heat, reduce moisture damage, and prevent musty smells, so your storage stays fresh and ready for use.

Are there any accessories that come with the units?

Yes, you have options to include helpful accessories like fishing rod holders and garment hooks, so boaters can keep their items organized.

Are the units strong enough to handle harsh environments?

Yes, our storage units are made with premium stainless steel hardware, including tough door handles, hinges, and exterior fittings that won’t rust or break down easily even in wet, salty environments.
